Agnes Gracia Accused of Violence Against David: Evidence From WhatsApp and CCTV
Agnes Gracia
MANGENJANG.COM - Agnes Gracia has been officially declared as one of the perpetrators of violence against David after investigators checked evidence from WhatsApp messages and CCTV footage.

Although she is still a minor, she has been deemed involved in the assault. Agnes' legal representative denies her involvement and claims that she was actually trying to help David.

"Evidence of WA chats, videos on cellphones. Then we need to convey that we also found CCTV around the TKP," said Kombes Hengki Haryadi

The case was transferred from the South Jakarta Metro Police to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police due to their greater expertise in cases involving children and women.

Despite being a minor, Agnes may still be subject to legal punishment.

Meanwhile, Mario Dandy has been charged with a more severe offense of intentional severe assault under article 355 KUHP with a maximum sentence of 12 years.

The evidence used to establish Agnes' involvement in the assault includes WhatsApp chats, videos on her phone, and CCTV footage from the location of the incident, according to Kombes Hengki Haryadi, a police officer involved in the investigation.

While Agnes' lawyer insists that she was trying to help David, the police maintain that she played an active role in the violence against him.

"The truth is that Agnes was actually with a sense of humanity, her left hand holding David because she was saddened by this incident," said Mangatta Toding Allo.

The case has garnered significant attention due to the severity of the assault and the fact that both Agnes and David are minors.

Despite her age, Agnes may still face punishment under the law. According to Kombes Hengki, the formal procedures for minors in the justice system and child protection laws will be followed.

"Yes, of course I am if (the perpetrators of) children are formally regulated in the judicial law. And children are materially regulated in the child protection law," said Hengki

In the meantime, Mario Dandy, another suspect in the case, has been charged with a more serious offense.

He is being accused of intentional severe assault under article 355 KUHP, which carries a maximum sentence of 12 years.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of the case will be and how it will impact the parties involved.***
