For the past year, she thought the insurance was available if needed.
From the beginning, when Indra Bekti revealed his plan to have health insurance, Aldila Jelita admitted to supporting it.
However, she wanted to know more details about the insurance.
"He was dishonest with me about one thing. So, a year before the incident, he said, 'Bun, I want insurance.' I said it was okay, but tell me the requirements first," said Aldila Jelita on Melanie Ricardo's YouTube channel.
"It seems he was afraid of me, so he lied. He told people he was endorsed by the insurance," she added.
However, the reality is that the insurance could not be used when Indra Bekti underwent surgery for a ruptured blood vessel at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta.
This made Aldila Jelita feel helpless. She was confused and worried about her husband's health condition, which required treatment.
"That's why on the day of the incident, my manager friends and I were confused. So all this time, he lied. I thought his insurance was already settled," said Aldila Jelita.
